Main event 2027

Intermountain Main Event is an opportunity for students to celebrate the unique ways God has gifted them with passion, creativity, and talent. Through sports, music, the arts, writing, and other competitions, students are encouraged to discover and develop their God-given abilities while recognizing that their gifts can be offered in service to the Kingdom of God. Main Event seeks to remind students that their individual talents and creativity are reflections of God’s own creative agency and that every gift has a place in God’s work.

Main Event will take place March 12-13 at Northwest Nazarene University and Nampa College Church. The event is open to all 6th–12th grade students who register through a local Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene, with registration costing $30 per student. Students can participate in coed 3v3 basketball, 6v6 volleyball, and 6v6 dodgeball tournaments, as well as talent competitions in music, poetry, dance, art, and other miscellaneous talents. Talent entries will be adjudicated and receive both a score and written feedback. Students involved in Bible Quizzing will also have the opportunity to compete against other quizzing teams from across the district.
