NATIONAL QUIZ 2008 @ NORTHWEST NAZARENE UNIVERSITY [JULY 2-5, 2008]

The first quiz meet, over Philemon & Galatians 1-3, will be held at Baker City Church of the Nazarene, with registration starting at 8am (PST). The coaches/officials meeting and teen worship time will start at 8:30 with the tournament beginning at 9am. Typically, the event ends by 4:30pm with a lovely awards ceremony. It would be AWESOME to get to give awards for those who HAVE MEMORIZED A WHOLE CHAPTER. (include that info with your registrations)

Let's come back together again to start 2007-2008 (which will end with the international Q2008 at NNU!) to grow in wisdom, understanding & grace!

Since I don't know how many teams might come, can you send ESTIMATED registration information with numbers of teams early (1st week of October) so that trophies can be ordered and food planning can be estimated?

Costs: $5, including lunch, for quizzers; $2 for others eating lunch; officials (quizmasters & scorekeepers) are free-- always!

It is possible to stay overnight at Baker, if you have a long drive, so please contact Janet Alanko ( ralanko [at] eoni.net )to make arrangements as far in advance as possible.

Registration information (#teens, number of TEAMS, and the NAMES of your officials and what type they will be) is due by 10am Tuesday morning, October 9th.  

As per district rules, if you register after that time there will be a $10 fee per team (ok, the rules say "per person" but that's too much). New registrations cannot be added after Thurs noon because the tournament will be established by then. Your registration numbers are used to buy food, so consider that you have made a committment to bring $2/quizzer that you register.

ALL registration monies are due at registration Saturday morning. As per district rules, we can only accept CASH or a CHURCH CHECK. No personal checks can be used.
